The AlertSec service protects everything stored on your computer: Credit Card information, Social Security Numbers, Passwords, Photos as well as data files in applications such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Gmail. Perhaps, most importantly, login credentials to cloud applications are also protected.

Windows Home does not normally provide encryption. We have built a service to enable the built-in Windows encryption and provide free storage of your recovery keys. These keys are important in case you have a hardware issue and need to retrieve data from your computer.

Encryption is normally hard to understand and sometimes users are afraid that encrypting a computer will make work difficult. The AlertSec solution is built so that an encrypted computer will operate exactly as before - you will not notice the encryption, as it takes place in the background. That is why we call it "transparent for the user". This means that if you lose your computer a perpetrator will not be able to retrieve any data, thereby protecting you and your information.

There is no impact on the performance of an encrypted computer. The full disk encryption software is fast and works on-the-fly by encrypting and decrypting your files as you access them. Everything on your disk is encrypted, including the operating system and free disk space.

FREE service for Windows 10 & 11. AlertSec is a deployment and management platform for Microsoft Windows BitLocker software. By using BitLocker, we utilize the benefits of having a built-in solution available in the Windows Pro and Enterprise versions of Windows 10 & Windows 11. For Windows Home versions we have built a separate installer to allow for activating hard drive encryption.
